Freeze-Dried Felines

I should probably start blogging about my Crazy Amanda Dreams© again, since it is the topic that catapulted me into the blogosphere back in 2000. Last night was the first night I got some real sleep in the past two weeks, so I fell into a deep dream state around 5:00 a.m.

I was on a farm, and the farmer was showing me how he fattened his cat up to 31 lbs. I asked why, so he said, “I have to freeze dry him, so the fatter the better.” I didn’t believe him, but then he pulled out an alumnium pan full of a brown liquid and put the cat’s tail and hind legs in it, which then began to freeze. The cat started making an awful un-feline noise, and I began crying. I screamed, “Why would you do such a horrible thing?” The farmer replied, “I was told my farm would be taken over by eminent domain, so I couldn’t keep the cat anymore.” I sobbed and went on and on how I could have adopted the cat, but the farmer just shrugged.

So I woke up, and found the source of the un-feline noise. Lexcie was snoring.

Wow sometimes I wonder why I dream certain things. It would upset me if someone wanted to freeze dry their cat too. 🙁 By the way, I just saw your Page O’ Annoyances and I just wanted to tell you it made me smile and I can’t wait to see more.

I have weird dreams all the time. Really weird ones. 1 time a few years ago I woke up and my pillow was across the room. I have no idea what I was dreaming about but I must have thrown it.
