Another Day In Spazdom

Wednesday, December 28th, 2005

Pick up your mouse. Light, right?

I spazzed out and dropped my mouse on my keyboard.

Four keys popped out.

WTF.

Now I have to send my poor laptop back to Dell to get my keyboard replaced.

Damn it. My business is going to suffer for this one.

Well, I spent my 23rd birthday pretty much the same way I spent my 13th (and who knows, possibly even my third)- with pizza and a movie. , , , Alyse and I got way too much pizza, had a “donut cake” (24 candles stuck into a box of dozen Dunkin’ Donuts), and watched Bewitched. A very nice time 🙂

I got so many nice cards, phone calls, e-mails and Facebook/MySpace comments from people I haven’t heard from in a while, so that was sweet of them. However, a few close people (including an immediate family member) totally forgot it was my birthday, so that bummed me out quite a bit. Oh well – I guess that’s what happens when you get old.

My legs are punishing me for going into the city and walking too much this week.

Grrr

Everyone else seems to have gotten snow. Fordham even has a snow day today. A SNOW DAY!

All Islip got was rain, and more rain.

Psht. Shafted.

I was so in the mood for snow last night after watching March of the Penguins.

My random find of the day

I found a third-place ribbon for a 1982 Brentwood soccer tournament, sponsored by Citibank, lying in my driveway today. 1982! No one in my family played soccer in 1982, so you’ve got me where it came from.

Now I am on a quest. A quest to find random things every day!

And the missing posts have returned again.

Is this some sort of conspiracy?

A big WTF

My LiveJournal is eating my friends’ posts. I must have forgotten to feed it this morning. Posts from , , and have totally disappeared. I thought I was losing it, so I check their journals and the posts are still in their journals. They haven’t defriended me. So what gives, LiveJournal?

Newsday printed my Letter to the Editor regarding the cancellation of Chaminade and Kellenberg’s proms. Woohoo, I feel special. And it’s obvious that the guy above me did not go to the Academy of St. Joseph. Repressed. Ha! Argh, I’m not a Bible-toting Catholic who is going to come burn your house down if you’re pro-abortion, but I’m sick of these little spoiled brats.

And this whole business of getting comments that were posted to my LiveJournal entries a month ago in my e-mail these past few days is getting a bit rediculous.

The end.
